Philip Ferranti, Jr.
Chief Executive Officer

As CEO of The Technology Company, Phillip Ferranti is responsible for day-to-day sales and operations as well as long term business strategy. Ferranti has 23 years of experience in business development, strategic sales planning, marketing, computer sales and complex selling.

Prior to co-founding The Technology Company in 2003, Ferranti co-founded Texport Technology Group in 1993 and built it into a $17M company in 8 years. Texport achieved the Rochester Top 100 Companies listing for 3 consecutive years prior to being sold in 2000.

Ferranti holds a BS in Business from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Kenneth Chellam
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Kenneth Chellam is responsible for all company financials and accounting activities. Prior to co-founding The Technology Company in 2003, Chellam co-founded and provided financial leadership for the Texport Technology Group.

Chellam began his career with General Instrument Corporation as Financial Controller for their UK semiconductor operation, entertainment product division and Portugal cost center. He later served as Senior Financial Analyst and Financial Controller of Volker Craig Ltd., and Chief Financial Officer for a leading value-added technology reseller.
Chellam holds a professional degree from the Charted Institute of Coast and Management Accounting, in London, England.

Jeffrey Hall
Consultant

Currently acting in a consultative role, Jeffrey Hall brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic planning and business development to The Technology Company.

Mr. Hall has achieved the rank of top North American account manager for a leading printing supply manufacturer. His strengths include sales, forecasting, marketing, negotiating long-term contracts, client relationship management and account management. Mr. Hall has previous sales experience with Merrill Lynch, HealthStar and Mobile's Plastics division.

Mr. Hall holds a BS in Business from Rochester Institute of Technology.

James Huerter
Vice President, Home Technology Division

James Huerter has 20 years of experience in home technology design and integration, including installation and service support for structured wiring, home theater, whole home audio, home automation, and home networking.

Huerter's experience includes installations in mid-range and high-end residential homes as well as small and mid-sized businesses. He has completed numerous million-dollar home installations, including a recent 18-room integrated sound residence that was nominated for a Cedia Home Automation Award.

Huerter is certified for Cat 3 and Cat 5 wiring, is THX Certified, and has extensive training in Lutron Lighting Controls and Panasonic home systems. He holds a BS from Rochester Institute of Technology.
